At 09:51 a house fire was dispatched in the Borough in the 500 block of B Street (45-01). Carlisle Police arrived and reported a well involved brush fire in the front of the house that was extending to the building. A large amount of smoke was present in the area and the box was upgraded. A bystander used a garden hose to knock the fire down. Engine 141 arrived and reported the same. Crews from 41 and 45 used the bumper line off Engine 141 to finish extinguishment. No extension was found inside and the box was quickly downgraded to the Borough units. Engine 38 was released from the scene to handle a transmission fluid spill for us at the square from a non injury auto accident.
