Kids were taken inside to a workshop where they could build a fire truck and practice stop-drop-and-roll. Our crews gave tours of the engine, handed out fire helmets and other fire prevention related items. One thing to note is that we were very impressed with many parents in providing their children instructions on what to do if there is a fire in their home. Having escape routes, meeting places and other instructions that the kids talked about without hesitation.
