SCBAs were mixed up in a pile which the members had to disentangle and then assemble while being blind folded. The focus on this part of the drill is SCBA familiarization and working based off “feel” only with gloved hands. After the SCBAs were assembled and dawned we went over different techniques on how to maneuver through obstacles while being on air. Finally basic hose rolls were gone over.

Our newer members coming in have to complete a rookie book of basic skills relative to our mission. We are proud of the progress they are all making this far as we work to build their confidence!
