At 16:00 Engine 241 and the Brush handled a large grass fire at a warehouse on Logistics Drive in South Middleton Twp. Engine 241 deployed the bumper line for extinguishment. While responding to that call Brush 236 called out with an auto accident on I-81 near Exit 45. Brush 236 and Brush 41 were released from the grass fire to handle the accident with Rescue 45. Crews had a three car accident in the high speed and causing a significant backlog. After crews got the Engine filled and repacked it was right back on the street at 17:29 with the Brush for a mulch fire on Walnut Bottom Road in South Middleton Twp.

The majority of the fires we have been handling have been smoking related. With the dry conditions on going please discard smoking materials correctly.
