Company 41 has handled just under 25 incidents already this week. Monday morning our day room floor got a much needed facelift! Thank you to FF / Trustee Devin Beckes and his daughter Noel for stripping, waxing and buffing the floor, it looks fantastic! Crews stayed busy running calls including several accidents, box alarms and one fire. Tuesday evening we stayed indoors and conducted training. Members went through our annual SCBA certification list. All CFD members are required to do an SCBA inspection, proper donning of the SCBA/Turnout gear and RIT operations. RIT operations are completed in a pitch black room using our RIT packs while wearing full PPE including gloves. We also had several members attending Hazmat class at Hacc.
