Shortly after 14:00 Engine 241 w/6 responded to Zion Rd in South Middleton Twp to assist Company 36 with a large turbine generator on fire. Crews located a small fire and extinguished it with a dry chem. Although the incident ended up being minor in nature the power crew wanted sufficient manpower and extinguishers in place to limit the fire damage when the generator was opened up. Engine 241 was on scene for around an hour, thanks to West End Fire & Rescue Company for the transfer. We had an additional crew of 5 on station but unfortunately Engine 141 was out getting inspected.

The crew also handled a crash, fire alarm and a box alarm Downtown for smoke in the building.
