Yesterday Engine 141 w/6 and Tanker 41 w/2 responded to Gardners Station Rd in Tyrone Twp to assist Bendersville Fire Company with a power substation fire

Several parts of the substation were on fire as well as surrounding outbuildings. Engine 141 was committed for 3 hours and assisted the Hazmat Team with Decon tasks. Tanker 41 was released from the scene shortly after arrival due to a positive water source being used. The station was staffed with an additional 4 members.
