41 was dispatched to the area of the 600 Blk of E High St (old frog & switch property) for a reported “outside fire” . C41, E141 and Brush 41 responded shortly after dispatch and while Enroute CC911 advised they received the call from Lifelion who reported something on fire in the area of the property possibly behind Pizza Hut. C41 arrived in the area with a large column, shortly after arriving on scene the report was given confirming a working building fire and the working fire assignment was started. E141 split layed from the main entrance of the facility (roughly 800’) and pulled past the fire. The 6 man crew quickly went to work following riding positions, crews forced entry into the structure and stretched a 300’ 1 3/4 line for extinguishment followed by a 200’ Crosslay for backup. Truck 45 arrived and the crew went to work opening up for the engine company and checking for extension. Units were out roughly 2.5 hours.
Thanks to Northeast Fire & Rescue for the transfer. While at Co.41 tanker 20 and Chief 41 handled a fire alarm in Middlesex township. The tanker crew was also gracious enough to assist us with cleanup !!!!
