Friday Morning Pin 📌 On Friday morning Engine 241 w/4 responded to the Turnpike in West Pennsboro Twp to assist Company 46 with an auto accident

Engine 241 arrived to find a van into the back of a tractor trailer. There were four occupants still in the van and the passenger was entrapped. The crew assisted Rescue 47 with extrication once they arrived on scene. One patient was flown via life lion, the others were treated on scene or ground transported. Chief 46 held command for the incident. While extrication isn’t a primary job for us this incident highlights the importance of why our members are cross trained to assist with manpower for any assignment.
