| On Tuesday 7/7 just before 13:00 Engine 241 with 4 responded to I-81 to assist Co33 with an auto accident with confinement in Middlesex Twp. The engine crew assisted with stabilization and stood by for fire protection while Squad 33s crew completed a door pop. The Engine was then released to handle another accident.
Later around 19:15 hours Engine 241 / C141 responded for a reported house fire in the 400 blk of N West St in the Borough. Engine 241 responded with 6 and had a column several blocks out. CPD units arrived with several electric bikes on fire that was extending into the house on the D side porch. CPD officers used several dry chemical extinguishers to knock the fire down. Engine 241 arrived and stretched a line for extinguishment. Chief 200 (hazmat) responded to handle the batteries from the bikes to avoid any thermal runaway issues. |
